My Homeware Wish-list - Rockett St George

Oh hey there you beauties!

I recently received an email from one of my favourite homeware companies, Rockett St George, letting me know about some new pieces they had in & my oh my I basically wanted every.single.piece.

For those of you that haven't heard about Rockett St George before, you're in for a treat! Don't get me wrong, that's precisely what it is, because the prices aren't particularly low & I've only so far bought a couple of things from them, but for inspiration alone, they are definitely worth a follow!

What do you think? Found anything that you can see yourself buying? They also have a beautiful instagram feed (@rockettstgeorge)

I'd love you to tag me in your photos if you end up buying anything! Either by using the hashtag #cordeliahearts or @cordelia_hearts on instagram..

Have you had chance to check out my first post over at Bella Coco yet? I'm talking mixing metals with your jewellery & how I'm a bit of a rule breaker!

Until next time..

Mixing Metals - Yes or no?

Heeeyyyyy you!

I'm kind of cheating with this post a little bit as I'm going to be redirecting you somewhere else... I've written a blogpost over at Bella Coco, for those of you that don't know, I'm really happy to say I've been asked to be the fashion blogger contributor over there! yay!

The post is all about mixing metals, whether that be gold, silver or a bit of copper - I talk about how I'm not afraid to wear it all together and do a bit of rule-breaking!

The photography is by the lovely Nicola White from Nicola White Photography/ and I think she's done an ace job.. so much so that I wish she lived at my house & could take pics of me all the time ;)

So... without further adu.. click on the link below to read the post, I hope you enjoy!

Cordelia's June Wish List

Ok, so where on earth did May go!?!? Seriously -  I did a wishlist in April (you can read it here) and I told myself I was going to do it every month as it's my favourite kind of post to read... but before I knew it, May had gone and we are sat here halfway through June.

So, apologies for failing at the first hurdle! but hopefully this post will make up for it and inspire you in some way :)

I've been lucky enough to have a few holidays this year - thanks to my pal, Sophie, having her hen do in Marbella followed by her wedding in Portugal! So as you can imagine, I've spent a lot of my time doing 'holiday shopping' and buying things other than black skinny jeans and brogues!

First on my wish list is this ace beach bag from Monki (via Asos) I love the simple monochromatic look and the rope handle - but I also love the fact that it's only £20!

Sticking with the beach bag theme I'm a little bit in love with this straw bag with cactus design from Mango too! I think out of the two I'm going to go for the VACAY one, because when it comes to packing it I think it is going to roll up really small and be abit more suitcase friendly - leaving space for more shoes of course! but you could use this cactus one as a handbag on the flight and not have to worry about getting it squashed out of shape in your case.. decisions, decisions.. what do you think?

You may have read my post last year all about the gorgeous sleepwear brand 'Cozies' (you can read it here) well, ever since I started wearing their pyjamas, I've become a little obsessed with sleeping in luxury items, I'm not even kidding when I say this - I think it makes me sleep better!
Next on my wish list is the Georgina Gown in viscose and lace detailing - it looks so simple and chic and something I wouldn't be embarrassed to open the front door in unlike my current ;)

I've also got my eye on this beautiful set from Asos called 'Savanna' I just love the colour and the split on the trousers - I keep picturing walking around my hotel room in them in Portugal, standing on a balcony looking over the marina - ok ok, I admit it, I've fooled myself into believing that I'll look like Princess Jasmine when she's stood on her balcony.

I actually bought these 'Office Shoes' loafers last week in the off white, but then returned them as I had a massive guilt trip that I've bought too much recently.. but here they are now on my wish list, where I knew they would end up... so maybe I'll have to go back ;)

Now I don't know if this crochet detail top from Boohoo is on my wish list because it's pretty, because it's super cheap (£14!!), or because it reminds me of my pal Sarah-Jayne over at Bella Coco (She's a crochet blogger, so obviously this was named after her! ;) ) whatever the reason, I love it and think it will be a perfect go to top with jeans, a little denim skirt or teamed under a pair of dungarees to give it a bit of feminine detailing... Infact I think I might have bought this top before I even finish this post!

I've never actually bought anything from Missguided before, I'm not sure why - I always see things I like and my friends are borderline obsessed with the brand.. but there is one particular item that has recently caught my eye and it's this Black eyelet swimming costume via Asos it's only £22 and it has a great 90's aesthetic to it..

Ok, so there we go.. the items I've been lusting after for the last couple of weeks - you'll see on instagram (@cordelia_hearts) if I end up buying any of them after this post! ;)

Also, have you popped over to Bellacoco.co.uk lately? By the time this post goes live.. my first contributor post will be live over there! Would love you to pop over and have a read!

Elsie's Attic - Quite possibly the most perfect tutu!

Good morning/afternoon/evening you gorgeous lot,

Thanks for popping by to my blog! I've got quite a special one to share with you today as for once it's not photos I've took in my mirror or images taken off of the internet.. oh no.. I've gone all out and got the professionals involved for this one!

Introducing the wonderful Nicola from Nicola White Photography (although it's certainly not the first time I've mentioned her on my blog as I just love her work!) I had the pleasure of teaming up with Nicola to get these images of quite possibly the most perfect tutu I've ever seen from Elsie's Attic, now you may have heard me mention them before too as they are actually a stockist of my tshirts , if you haven't already checked them out then you should go and have a peek, especially if you are tempted for a tutu this year, I'm obsessed with mine!

Elsie's Attic tutu's start from £50 for the mini and go up to £65 for the maxi, the one I'm wearing in these images is the midi and is £55. Personally I think for the amount of fabric you get and just how special this skirt makes you feel, it's worth every penny - and I promise I'm not being paid to say this!
This charcoal colour is my favourite, and that probably doesn't come as too much of a surprise! However, they come in the most delicious colours such as antique rose, baby pink, apricot and peach to name a few! I know, I know.. spoilt for choice right!?

I decided to put the skirt with a few different looks to show you that by all means a tutu doesn't mean it has to be for a special occasion, I loved wearing it with my trainers, Cordelia Hangry tshirt and leather jacket for a completely different look...

However, I'll admit, as soon as I put it with a sequin top and heels... I felt like an absolute princess!!! I soon started swishing around it, whether the camera was on me or not, and Nicola caught the moment perfectly...

I teamed the clothes with my everyday necklaces, I think adding too much bling would have took the emphasis away from the skirt. So I wore my Stone + Armour personalised necklace and my Missoma London gold horn - I love mixing metal colours and I think both worked really well against the grey tulle tutu fabric..

I'm having abit of an Avril Lavigne in this next image.. I used to LOVE her!!

Just incase I forget my own name.. both necklaces courtesy of Stone + Armour!

Look how happpppyyyyy I look!! haha :D

I was lucky enough to pick up this sequin top from Lavish Alice in the sale a couple of years ago so  unable to link where to get it from, but you can pick up the Calvin Klein tshirt at Urban Outfitters..

I hope you've enjoyed this post, sadly I can't promise professional pics all the  time going forward.. but if any photographers out there want to team up then pop me a message across here! :)

Thank you Elsie's Attic for designing this stunning skirt, and thanks again Nicola for such a lovely day shooting these shots in the most random graffiti spot in Nottingham ;)

Do you think you'll be tempted to purchase one? I'd love to see if you do! Tag me on instagram (@cordelia_hearts) or using the hashtag #CordeliaHearts  for me to see <3
